Amer fort - famous fort in indai and world

 Amer Fort -

                                          This fort comes in the category of main forts from the point of view of tourism in India. This fort has got the place of being one of the special forts of India. This fort also sings the saga of sun and bravery of many kings and emperors.

This fort is situated on a high hill in Amer area in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan state of India.






Before the construction of the fort, a large number of Meena caste people used to live here. Amer fort has become a source of attraction for tourists. Which is really adorable. Inside this you will get to see the components of Hindu architectural style.


Fort construction and geographical vision - 

                                The construction of this fort was started during the reign of Maharaja Man Singh I of Rajput dynasty of Kachwaha dynasty. Due to this fort being on a high hill, it also seems to be quite safe. For this reason, it was built on the hill by the king.

Marble and red sand stones were used in the construction of this fort. Which makes it even stronger. In this fort Sheesha Mahal, Jai Mandir, Jan Paragan, Sukha Niwas etc. parts are located. In this fort, the kings and emperors used to use Sheesha Mahal and Sukha Niwas for their rest.

Shila Devi temple is also built in this fort. The reason for making it was to protect the fort from enemies. In the construction of this temple also, the techniques of craftsmen from abroad were adopted. Many channels of this fort are connected to Aravalli, which were made from the point of view of security.This fort has been declared a world heritage in the mountainous parts of Rajasthan.Amer is situated in a town in the north-west of Jaipur. It is spread over 4,30,00,000 square feet. Due to its walls being made of stone, being very strong, the enemy could not harm it.Water resources were also present for the supply of water.



The annual rainfall here is 650 mm, but it mostly becomes dry in the month of June. It rains heavily here but there is no flood.

  A fort of this fort comes out on the high hill of Aravalli. This tunnel was built secretly. Which army was used to go out of the fort during the war and surround the enemies.


Entry Gate - 

                                          There were four main gates to enter this fort. When processions were taken out from here, sentries were appointed by the kings at all the gates here. Its first square was Jaleb Chowk. Whose length was 100 m and width was 65 m.


Ganesh Pol-

This was a door to go into the fort. Many artworks have been made on the walls adjacent to this door. Which looks very beautiful.




Ganesh Pol Darwaza was named because of being the king of the Hindu community. Since the beginning of the private palace of Maharaj started from here, a statue was also installed on it. Maharaj found the painting done on it so dirty that he got lime stones offered on this painting. And he became angry with those artists as well. But now due to some backlash in the ground, some pictures are visible.


second pollination -

                                                  In this polling, it was built for the court for the common people. Here all kinds of things used to be discussed between the king and the courtiers.


Third and fourth polling - 

                                                                  Both these pollings were made for the discharge of land revenue matters. In these the walls and many rooms are decorated with paintings and glass. Whenever sunlight falls on these walls, the sight is worth seeing.

The fourth pollination was made for royal women. Women used to do sports and other activities inside it. Men were not allowed to come here but only kings could come here.
